The Service of re-dedication for our 5 re-hung
bells of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Barnham Broom by The Right
Reverend Graham James Bishop of Norwich took place at 10am on 14th
October 2018.
With a damp weather forecast, an awning
joined the marquees used for extra seating for the service and for refreshments
to the West Door. Live feeds from the bell chamber and ringing chamber were transmitted
to screens in the church and marquee so that all could see the re-dedication itself.
The supporters of the Appeal and local
residents were joined by:
Richard Jewson, Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk,
patron of the Bells Restoration project
Mr Charles Watt, the current High Sheriff
of Norfolk
The new Barnham Broom Bell Ringers, who
