Organisation of the Barnham Broom Village
fete on Sunday 17th July continues with posters, banners and, thanks to Warners
Estate Agents, estate agent boards going up in Barnham Broom and the
surrounding area. 
Entrance to the fete is free but there will be a small fee of
£1 for car parking on the day.
As well as the entertainment already
advertised, we’ll be having big bells and little bells on display. Our successful
application to the EDP Community Chest Scheme was for the hire of a Travelling
Belfry for the fete, which has now been confirmed. There will also be Hand Bell
Ringers. We’re planning a Bouncy Castle
(weather permitting), a soft play area and face painting. With all the recent
rain, the ducks would have sailed down river pretty quickly if our duck race had
been last weekend.
