As part of our lottery application, we are
looking at ways to strengthen the link between our Bells, Church and Community
involvement. One of our ideas is to develop a new “Barnham Broom Trail”, where
the history of the village will complement a walking map of the area.
Do we have any local historians who would
like to help with this? Please contact bbbells.appeal@gmail.com if you would
like to get involved.
Please come and support us at our fund
raising events. We’re having a Beetle Drive on Wednesday 26th
October. Tickets are £5 adults / £3 children (under 16) and are on sale now
from Barnham Broom Post Office and Stores. Entrance includes Sausages and Baked
Potato
We’ll also be having Christmas Bingo on
Saturday 3rd December.
Both are at Barnham Broom Village Hall.
Thank you to everyone for your continued
support, helping our fund plus pledges to reach over £24,700.
Our latest trainee bell ringers, who showed
an interest in learning more about bell ringing after seeing the Charmborough
Ring portable belfry at the fete, have started lessons at Reymerston Church
with Ringing Master Keith Tinsey and his wife Jill.
