DECEMBER 2018 UPDATE

the tower lit up

Our bells rang out before the 6pm Carol Service with the D’Capo choir on Sunday 9^th December.  

With the tower lit up, it was possible to both see and hear the bells as the congregation arrived. The school hand chimes, purchased with our Lottery grant, could also be heard as part of the service. They were played by members of the choir.  Many stayed for mulled wine and nibbles afterwards.

Our new bell ringers will be helping to ring bells at many of our local churches on the run up to Christmas and New Year, with our Barnham Broom bells ringing on the 17^th before the School Carol Service and again on Christmas Day.
