The bells of the
Church of St Peter and St Paul, Barnham Broom rang on the first evening of the
lying in state of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Westminster Hall.
Four of the bells were
fully muffled with the tenor bell half muffled so you hear one clear ring at
the end of the round.
The bells will ring in
the same way ahead of the service of remembrance and thanksgiving on Sunday.
