Bells Foundry Visit: Schedule and Revised Application Date announced

Leaflets are being delivered to all the homes in Barnham Broom showing details about the coach trip on Saturday 24th February to visit the foundry of Whites of Appleton in Oxfordshire where the work is being carried out on our bells.

The schedule for the day* will be as follows:
6.45am
Coach outside Barnham Broom Primary School ready to board
7am
Depart Barnham Broom (1 refreshment stop en route)
11am - 1pm
Guided Tour of Whites Foundry
1.30pm
Stop for lunch (buy your lunch or bring a picnic)
3pm
Start return journey (Refreshment stop if required)
6.30pm
Arrive back
* Timings may vary slightly according to circumstances on the day
The coach will have an on-board lavatory.

We still have some places available on the coach trip. The deadline to reserve your places has been extended to Saturday 17th February and places will now be on a first come, first served basis.

Coach travel and the foundry tour are free, paid for by our Heritage Lottery Fund grant. But you will need to bring or pay for your food during the day.

The trip is open to individuals or groups of up to 6 family/friends.
A refundable deposit of £10 for an individual or £20 per group is required with your reservation.
We are asking for a deposit to discourage the possibility of someone taking up a place on this free event and then not turning up on the day.

A cheque payable to “Barnham Broom PCC” is the best way to make a deposit.
Your deposit will be returned to you when you board the coach.

Please complete the reservation slip on the back of the leaflet and leave it with your deposit at Barnham Broom Post Office and Stores as soon as possible but by Saturday 17th February at the latest.
